Alexandra Tsirkel

Alexandra was born in the Siberian city of Omsk in Russia and was six years old when she began playing the piano. She formally studied at the Novosibirsk State Conservatoire in Russia where she earned her Bachelors degree. She is currently working on her Masters degree at the University of Washington, while also working for the University of Washington and the Rainier Beach Presbyterian church in Seattle as an accompanist. Alexandra accompanied the 2009 winner of the Concerto competition at the University of Washington. She was recently featured on the Cascade Symphony Chamber Groups concerts program, the Bellingham Musical Club, and the Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Church's 2009-10 concert series. She performs both as a soloist and as an accompanist, and teaches piano privately in Kirkland, Washington.
