Krystle Maczka

Krystle Maczka started her piano studies at the age of 5 in San Diego. She graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in 2005, and then went on to complete an undergraduate degree in piano performance at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, and Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada. Throughout high school and college, she was awarded multiple merit-based scholarships for performance and accompanying. In the summer of 2006, she received a full scholarship to study with Herbert Stessin at the Aspen Music Festival and School. At the age of 18, she had her orchestral debut with the South Arkansas Symphony performing Mozart's piano concerto in A Major, K. 488. During her freshman year at Lawrence University, she was invited to play a dedicatory piano recital at the William Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Since moving to Bellevue, Washington, Krystle has been an active performer, accompanist, collaborative pianist and piano teacher. She is also a proud mother, and believes that having a child has enriched her love of teaching piano to students of all ages and backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys studying Austrian economics, playing Scrabble, and listening to great recordings of classical music.

Krystle teaches the full spectrum of students, ranging from the young beginner to the advanced pianist.
